Allied Health Professional Network
Providing support and professional development to Allied Health Professionals
The National Osteoporosis Society Allied Health Professional Network has been developed to provide support and professional development to Allied Health Professionals who are specialists working in the field of osteoporosis and/or fragility fractures.
The Network includes:
- Osteoporosis specialist nurses
- Fracture liaison/prevention nurses
- Other specialist nurses
- Research nurses
- Falls nurses/prevention coordinators
- Occupational therapists
- Health advisors
- Community matrons
- Rheumatology nurses
- Exercise professionals
The network is not intended for generalists or clinicians in the field; it is also not open to employees of pharmaceutical companies or corporate organisations
You must be a health professional currently working in the field of osteoporosis/secondary fracture prevention to attend these events’.
The main aims of the Network are to offer Allied Health Professionals:
- Peer support
- A forum for sharing information and best practice
- The opportunity to keep up-to-date on current local and national service provision
- Continuing professional development such as training or educational events led by relevant experts.

Attendees names, job titles and place of work will be made available to attendees, by registering to attend this event you agree to the National Osteoporosis Society using your data for this purpose.
