Bromley & District Support Group

Hello and welcome from Stevie West, Secretary.

The first meeting of the group took place in February 1994 and our aim has always been to offer support, information and above all friendship to anyone affected by Osteoporosis. Friendship and a friendly atmosphere at our meetings remains the group’s greatest strength. Everyone knows that Osteoporosis is not a friendly disease, so sharing information over a cup of tea or coffee makes such a difference.

A selection of leaflets from the N.O.S. are available at our meetings to hopefully empower people to make informed decisions on the key aspects of Osteoporosis

Meetings are always held on the second Wednesday of the month, at St Mark’s Church, Westmoreland Rd, Bromley BR2 0TB. This is a disabled and wheelchair friendly venue.

Doors open: 14:15

Meetings start: 14:30 sharp, unless otherwise stated.

A raffle is held at the end of most meetings.  All donations gratefully received.

Transport: 5 mins. walk from Bromley South Station and bus routes to and from, West Wickham, Croydon, Orpington, Bromley North, Catford & Lewisham.

Areas covered by our Support Group: We support people living in Bromley, Beckenham, Orpington, Biggen Hill, Chislehurst and West Wickham areas. People from other boroughs are also welcome.
