Dr Eleni Kariki, Research Fellow at MRI and Academic Clinical Fellow, will be speaking on:

The Research Project “STOpFRAX”

A tool for diagnosis of vertebral Fractures.

This project aims to build an automatic tool for the identification of osteoporotic vertebral fractures with computer and radiological images. The project is led by Professor Tim Cootes from the University of Manchester and Dr Kariki works with him as a Research Fellow in Radiology.

The project team will set up a patient and public involvement panel to evaluate the “STOpFRAX” tool and share views and opinions about the tool and other specific aspects of the research.

The meeting will be held in All Saints’ Parish Hall, Hale Road, Hale Barns WA15 8ST
The Hall is behind the Church with car parking at both sides.  

Should the car park become full, you can park in the shopping precinct car park next door and enter the Church site via the gate off the precinct exit road.
