We do this by:

    • Health and Well-being advice

    • Fundraising Events

    • Social Activities

Tea Dance – Thursdays, 13:30 until 16:00

Venue: Sherwood Community Centre, Mansfield Road, Sherwood, NG5 3FN

We help organise a Tea Dance on a weekly basis at the Sherwood Community Centre, there is an excellent bus service here and plenty of free parking. Admission costs £2.50 and this includes Tea and Biscuits. All members and non-members are welcome to join us and there will be a mixture of Sequence, Line Dancing and Ballroom. Please come along and support us, there are representatives from the group in attendance and you are welcome if you just want to come along and have a chat. Again please contact us below for more details.

On Occasional Wednesdays Committee Members of the Nottingham Support Group attend
Prof. Opinder Sahota’s Clinic No 2 at the Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, with the full range of NOS leaflets etc. They are happy to give support to osteoporosis patients, both newly diagnosed and existing patients.

Volunteers needed We would like to make an appeal for new committee members and helpers to the group. If you, or someone you know, has an interest in Osteoporosis, has a few hours a month to spare and would like to make a difference, increase personal satisfaction, have fun, meet new people and make new friends we would love to hear from you. Please either come along to one of our events (details above and below) or contact us on the details below to find out more. We need your help to continue the group.
