Celebrate and donate

There’s a new way for supporters of the National Osteoporosis Society to raise funds to help people with osteoporosis in the UK – by donating in celebration.
‘Give in celebration’ offers supporters the opportunity to raise money for the Charity at a celebration. Whether it’s a birthday, retirement party, wedding, anniversary or other celebration, supporters can now ask family and friends to honour their special occasion with a donation to the National Osteoporosis Society, in place of a gift.
In addition, the Charity’s specially designed Osteospermum flower pin badges can be ordered as wedding favours, letting guests know that a donation has been made to the National Osteoporosis Society in their honour, and giving them a special memento to remember the day.
As part of this new fundraising opportunity, the Charity is offering supporters help with setting up their own JustGiving page for their celebration, and can supply collection envelopes to enhance their fundraising efforts.
Georgia Moore, Individual Giving Officer at the Charity said: “Supporting the National Osteoporosis Society at a special occasion is a thoughtful way for supporters to help us provide vital resources for people living with, or at risk of osteoporosis.”
“By fundraising for us at a celebration, our highly-valued supporters are helping to make sure we're there to support people with osteoporosis across the UK, and can celebrate in the knowledge that they’re helping to transform lives.”
