Leave a gift in your will

Your gift will aid our vital research towards a cure, allow funding for our free osteoporosis helpline and shape support groups for people like you across the nation.

Give the gift of strong bones for future generations

Since 1986, with the support of people like you, we have been there for anyone affected by osteoporosis.

But with someone breaking a bone because of osteoporosis every minute in the UK, research to stop the pain and suffering caused by osteoporosis is needed more than ever.

The charity receives no government funding, and gifts in wills contribute to over a third of our income each year. We simply cannot help everyone in need without the generosity of people like you. Your contributions will aid our vital research towards a cure, allow funding for our free osteoporosis helpline and shape support groups for people like you across the nation.

Meet Susan, our Legacy Manager

Susan Shuttle, the ROS’s Legacy Manager I look after all the incredible gifts left in Wills to the organisation. I make sure all legacies are received and maximised making the best use of these very special gifts to support more people with osteoporosis both now and in the future.

I’m a qualified Solicitor, a member of STEP and the Institute of Legacy Management.

Before entering the charity sector, I started my career as a solicitor specialising in conveyancing, wills and probate. I’ve also taught law, including wills and probate, at all levels – all of which will come in useful in my role.

With your help, we can...

  • Motivate people to take action for their bones and prevent osteoporosis developing in the first place.
  • Continue to train healthcare professionals so everyone with osteoporosis receives the care they deserve.
  • Be there for anyone needing information and support, for generations to come.
  • Fund research to improve the lives of people living with osteoporosis and - one day - find a cure.
