Digital Communities Coordinator

Fixed Term 24 months | 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9-5) |  £34,392 per annum plus benefits | Location: Hybrid basis (Bath).

This role is an exciting opportunity to form part of a team coordinating and developing our digital services, including contributing to two multi-year service development programmes currently underway, Osteoporosis Connect and Medication Support (Action for Osteoporosis) and overseeing our online peer-support communities.

We’re looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport, empathise with others, and foster positive relationships both online and offline.

  • Do you have experience supporting online communities or support spaces, preferably within a healthcare or charitable organisation?
  • Do you have experience coordinating projects or services? (digital experience would be ideal)
  • Do you have experience of navigating sensitive or contentious topics with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism, ideally within online communities?

Director of Services and Innovation

We are looking for a Director of Services and Innovation to set a clear, ambitious, bone health vision and galvanise the organisation, its supporters and key stakeholders and decision makers behind it. Your portfolio will be extensive, overseeing the delivery of all ROS’s support services and programmes, as well as our best practice toolkits to influence change in the NHS. You’ll strengthen the relationship between service delivery and supporter development by building the evidence base and momentum necessary to drive social change.

You will play a key role in the strategic direction-setting and leadership of the charity as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

  • Are you an experienced leader, with an exceptional track record in service delivery and service development?
  • Do you have a deep understanding of healthcare systems and delivery in the UK?
  • Do you have substantial experience in developing and executing strategic plans for organisations?

Membership and Supporter Assistant

Permanent | Part Time 30 hours (4 days) per week | Salary: up to £23,419 per annum FTE (£18,735 for 30 hours) plus benefits| Location: Office Based (Bath) or hybrid basis.

In this role, you’ll assist our Individual Giving and Membership fundraisers in providing an exceptional experience to our members and supporters. 

 

You’ll often be the first port of call for our members, supporters, potential supporters, and members of the public contacting ROS. 

  • Have you got excellent communication skills with an engaging and professional telephone manner?
  • Are you an enthusiastic and hard working team player?
  • Do you have experience of using CRM databases? 


We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational and administration skills with the ability to work on their own initiative. You’ll have excellent attention to detail and be committed to delivering a high standard of supporter care. Please note, this role will require a satisfactory Basic DBS Disclosure.

Individual Giving Membership Manager (Retention)

Full Time (37.5 hours Monday to Friday)  |  Fixed Term Contract 12 months | up to £40,256 per annum plus benefits | Location: Hybrid basis (Bath)

In this exciting role, you’ll optimise and develop our supporter and member retention programmes. Reporting to the Head of Supporter Engagement, you’ll retain, reactivate and develop individual supporters and members, ensuring they have the best experience, maximising their lifetime value. You’ll work closely with the Acquisition Manager as required and will manage a team of five. 

You’ll plan and execute individual giving campaigns, manage and develop our membership programme, and carry out legacy marketing, supporter stewardship both on and offline.

  • Do you have experience in developing and managing a range of direct marketing/fundraising channels and campaigns?
  • Are you highly numerate and able to set and manage business plans and budgets, and analyse and interpret campaign results?
  • Do you have experience of using CRM databases and using data to provide audience insight?
  • Have you got excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships?

We’re  looking for an innovative, highly organised, self-starter, with the ability to plan and deliver campaigns in a timely manner. You will have strong attention to detail and be able to manage multiple projects whilst working to tight deadlines.
